Rider women to play 8 of 10 non-league games on road

Lynn Milligan's Rider women will have to be road warriors in the non-conference portion of their schedule.

The Broncs will play eight of their 10 non-league contests away from Alumni Gymnasium, beginning Nov. 14 at Seton Hall. The game is part of the Preseason Women's NIT.

Rider announces 2014-15 non-conference schedule, will play at Kansas


A trip to one of college basketball's most historic venues and local bragging rights up for grab headline Rider's 2014-15 non-conference schedule, released by the school on Tuesday.

The Broncs visit Phog Allen Fieldhouse to play Kansas on Nov. 24 as part of the Orlando Classic. The remainder of the Orlando Classic -- formerly the Old Spice Classic -- takes place Nov. 27-30 in Florida. Other participants include: Michigan State, Georgia Tech, Marquette, Tennessee, Rhode Island and Santa Clara.
