Rider's McKenzie Second Team All-Met

MyNeshia McKenzie racked up one more honor before graduation.

The senior forward for the Rider women’s basketball team was named to the All-Met Second Team for the second straight year when the teams were announced Monday by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association.

McKenzie, a 6-foot forward from Springfield, Pa., finished the season second in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in scoring (19.5) and rebounding (11.1). She recorded 19 double-doubles and was also a first team all-league selection for the second consecutive season.

Rider officially adds Durham as third member of 2018 class

Rider head coach Kevin Baggett officially announced Anthony Durham as the third member of his 2018 recruiting class.

Durham, a 6-foot-3 guard from Philadelphia, spent last season at Putnam Science Academy, helping it to a 29-5 record and the No. 5 national ranking among prep schools. Durham averaged 16.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.

Prior to Putnam, Durham starred at Abington High School (Pa.), leading the Galloping Ghosts to the AAAA semifinals as a senior. He averaged 14.5 points and 7.3 assists per game.
