Welcome back to the Trentonian's Full-Court Press blog. Yes, we're still alive, and with the 2015-16 season rapidly approaching, it's time to fire up the old blog for another season. Check back here throughout the year for updates on all things Rider and Princeton, including coverage of both the MAAC and Ivy League. Last night, tonight

I doubt Jamal Barney reads the blog, but surely, someone must have told him we thought he (along with Shane Walker and Brian Rudolph) needed to be more active.

Barney scored a game-high 22 points off the bench and Loyola posted its most impressive win of the year, coming from behind to top defending MEAC champion -- and local rival -- Morgan State last night.

The Hounds got another solid game from Brett Harvey (15 points) and a key 3 from the 6-10 Walker in a late run that sent them past Morgan, a team whose resume includes a win at Arkansas. (Sure, they're not your father's Razorbacks, but when it's MEAC vs. SEC, the money's going to be on the SEC team 99 times out of 100.)

The win puts the 5-2 Hounds in good shape heading into Friday's MAAC opener at Canisius -- a game Jimmy Patsos' team should win handily.

Meanwhile, colleague Pete Iorizzo writes that Siena will have its hands full tonight, dealing with a dominant big man and a team led by his former coach.

The Saints are four-point underdogs against the team ranked 23rd in the ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll.

Who does everyone like tonight in Atlanta?

GA Tech can play sloppy and get out of sorts - that should work in Siena's favor. Ga Tech has excellent size in the post - which having Rossiter is a plus, as he seems to put up double-doubles more often than not against up competition (16 and 15 in NCAA Tournament ring a bell?). Franklin will be over matched in size - but may have an advantage with quickness. The beauty of having a Ubiles on the wing in these games is that he neutralizes major conference wings - which is usually a negative when a mid goes up against a major - Ubiles shut down Shan Foster in the 2008 NCAA Tournament and played even with Evan Turner and Terrence Williams in last year's Tournament.

Can not discount the fact that Ga Tech has two lottery picks starting and Siena doesn't.

The key with Moore will be continue to push pace, but not try and thread the needle - Ga Tech's length will neutralize that - Moore should push, if something is open you take it - if not, back it out and run the offense.

Ga Tech has a habit of losing 2 or 3 games to mid-majors every year.

Would love to say I like Siena, but I think Ga. Tech's size is just going to be too much, especially since half Siena's team is playing with some kind of nicks and bruises. I'll say Ga. Tech 79, Siena 73 but I hope I'm wrong.
