Welcome back to the Trentonian's Full-Court Press blog. Yes, we're still alive, and with the 2015-16 season rapidly approaching, it's time to fire up the old blog for another season. Check back here throughout the year for updates on all things Rider and Princeton, including coverage of both the MAAC and Ivy League. Rider Gameday: vs. Hartford

Who: Hartford (5-8) at Rider (3-9).

When: Wednesday, 7 p.m., Alumni Gymnasium

Radio: 107.7 FM The Bronc.

Last Time Out: Rider def. Morgan State, 71-49; Hartford def. Widener, 69-46.

Series History: The schools have met three times with Rider winning two, including a postseason game in the first round of the 2013 CIT. The Broncs came out on top last season on Teddy Okereafor’s jumper with 10 seconds remaining.

Scouting Hartford: The Hawks have won two straight and are coming off a 23-point victory over Division III Widener. They are 2-1 against the MAAC this season with wins over Saint Peter’s and Niagara and a loss to Quinnipiac. Four Hartford players average double figures led by Pancake Thomas (13.2). Thomas, a 6-4 guard who transferred in from New Mexico, is also an 83.3 percent free throw shooter, so Rider will want to keep him off the line.

Scouting Rider: Is it time for the Broncs to start turning the corner? Rider’s won two of its last three and blew out Morgan State prior to the holiday break. Coach Kevin Baggett won’t have all his available options with both Kenny Grant (knee) and Anthony Durham (foot) injured. Kahlil Thomas is coming off back to back double-doubles (12/ 10 in both) and Jimmie Taylor has picked up his offense, reaching double figures in five of the last six games.
