Rider picks up commitment from Anthony Durham

Rider has picked up a commitment for the 2014-15 season in 6-foot-3 guard Anthony Durham out of Philadelphia.

Durham is completing a prep year at Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut.

He’s averaging 16.6 points and 5.8 rebounds for 19-2 Putnam, which is ranked second in the latest National Prep School Poll.

Prior to Putnam, Durham played at Abington High School in Pennsylvania.

As a senior, he averaged 14.5 points and 7.3 assists for the Galloping Ghosts en route to First Team All-Suburban One honors.

Durham also had offers from St. Bonaventure, Hofstra, LIU-Brooklyn and St. Francis (Pa.).
