Welcome back to the Trentonian's Full-Court Press blog. Yes, we're still alive, and with the 2015-16 season rapidly approaching, it's time to fire up the old blog for another season. Check back here throughout the year for updates on all things Rider and Princeton, including coverage of both the MAAC and Ivy League. Rider accepts CIT bid

Rider has accepted an invitation to play in the CollegeInsider.com postseason tournament.

The Broncs finished the season 18-14 and 12-6 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, grabbing the No. 2 seed, but crashed out of the conference tournament in disappointing fashion, scoring 42 points — a program low in the MAAC tournament — in a quarterfinal loss to Fairfield.

Rider's CIT opponent is yet to be determined and the game will be played on the road either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

Official pairings will be released Sunday.

This is the Broncs' fourth postseason appearance in the last six year. Their last trip — the 2011 CIT — ended in the first round with a loss to Northern Iowa.

The CIT consists of 32 teams and the schools are bracketed geographically.

Rider has not made the NCAA tournament since 1994 when it was still part of the Northeast Conference.
