Welcome back to the Trentonian's Full-Court Press blog. Yes, we're still alive, and with the 2015-16 season rapidly approaching, it's time to fire up the old blog for another season. Check back here throughout the year for updates on all things Rider and Princeton, including coverage of both the MAAC and Ivy League. Weekend Update

Hopefully, everyone is getting back on their feet after Hurricane Sandy.

Rider's exhibition against Scranton Saturday is still ON, with tip-off scheduled for 4 p.m.

The school sent students home with the storm looming and canceled classes through the week. Students are expected back Monday. Talked to some folks over at Rider and they said the university never lost power but there was some damage to the roof of the Maurer Center, which contains the pool. Because of that and the school's closure, the swim meet with Lehigh scheduled for Friday and the Cranberry-White wrestle-off on Thursday were both postponed.

The women's volleball match at Iona was moved from Thursday to Monday.

The NEC field hockey tournament, hosted by Rider, will be played as scheduled with the semifinals taking place Friday and the championship Saturday. The Broncs (13-5, 6-1) face Quinnipiac in the semifinals (1:30 p.m.). Monmouth and St. Francis (Pa.) play in the other semi.

Men's soccer will play its season finale Friday night against Loyola.

(UPDATE) : The men's soccer game Friday night has been canceled by the MAAC. Because the league's top four teams have already been decided, administrators voted to cancel the remaining regular-season schedule. The Broncs finish the year 3-13-1 overall and 2-5-1 in the MAAC.
